Composer, Arranger, Sound Designer
An independent, forward thinker - with an aptitude for teamwork and critical thinking - who strives to lend creativity to Film, TV, and Video Games. In the world of visual and interactive media, Julian Cabrera is a Composer, Producer, and Sound Designer. He combines his infinite love for video games and various sample libraries to create a diverse range of film and game scores. Julian's repertoire showcases a multitude of musical styles including epic and powerful orchestral works, synthetic and hybrid electronic compositions, intense and dirty metal tracks, and 16-bit retro-style music akin to the 90s. He graduated from Berklee College of Music in May, 2023 - dual majoring in Film Scoring and Video Game Scoring.


Julian has served as the role of Composer, Sound Designer, Audio Director, and Audio Producer for various student games developed at University of Southern California, University of Utah, and University of Wisconsin-Stout. These games include Delfini (USC), Tavern Crawl (EAE), Splat Cat (USC), Garden (USC), BiFrost (EAE), Divining Rods (Stout) and many others. Of these games, Defini was nominated for an audio design award at IndieCade in 2022. Julian is proficient in Cubase, Kontakt, Massive X, Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, Finale, Unity, Wwise, FMOD, iZotope, and Native Instruments. He is currently functioning as Sound Designer and Composer at Wavyrn, and Sound Designer for the indie animation studio, Virtuous Reality.
